Welcome to my November challenge, this month is all about Christmas stockings
Christmas Stockings have been an essential part of the Christmas tradition for centuries. The tradition started in Europe. Christmas stockings traditionally have the owner's name written on them, so that Santa knows which presents belong to each person. Christmas stockings were originally plain socks, but soon, stockings made especially for the purpose of holding gifts, were designed.

I used some beautiful Almond white for the base of my stocking, Bubbles Cherry and Sprig green Pine needles for the letters. The top of my stocking was made from Sprig green Hunter.

I Quilted my stocking to give it structure and a cosy effect
I decided to create 'Couple Stockings' by adding two names to my stocking, my sons name and his girlfriends name - cute eh?
I used FMQ to secure the Bondaweb fused letters and Aurifil thread
Be sure to check out all the island Batik Ambassadors Christmas stockings this month for some amazing inspiration
