Island Batik December Blog hop ... Win fabric

This post is bittersweet, as I'm so excited to share with you my December blog hop 'Lone star' quilt, using the brand new collection called 'Imperial Mums' by By Kathy Engle for Island Batik, but this will also be my last Island Batik post, as I have decided to not apply to be an Island Batik ambassador for my 5th year.

I want to spend my time concentrating on my new business, which I'm very proud to say is going from strength to strength, and I cant wait to see what 2023 has in store for me as Creativeblonde Gifts - be sure to spread the word about my personalised gifts for friends and family.

I used Aurifil thread to create and quilt my Lone Star, along with Hobbs premium cotton batting to complete this quilt

I used these beautiful mauve's for the backing, and made my own bias binding which I hand sewed to the quilt
