April's Island Batik challenge was all about creating super cute 'Funky Friends' from a pattern, kindly donated to us by www.funkyfriendsfactory.com.

I chose Plattie Platypus

These patterns are simple and lots of fun for anyone looking to create a special soft toy.

I created these platypuses using Island batik fabrics, all stitched up using Aurifil thread
