A little piece of weekend loveliness… Island Batik box 2 – the grand opening

Well it might be Friday the 13th, but right now I’m feeling very fortunate, I’ve just opened box 2 for being an Island batik Ambassador, and the fabrics are gorgeous, I just had to share the loveliness

The products featured in this post were given to me by Island Batik.

I’m so excited to be continuing on this very exciting journey as an Ambassador… and thrilled with the beautiful fabrics in box 2, I’m already getting excited about using these beauties

Along with these beautiful fabrics, Hobbs Batting and Aurifil and generously donated a variety of batting and threads.

My Lizard who traveled back from Oz with me wanted to make an appearance in box 1 photos, but i was worried about taking him off the wall, this time i let him join in the fun…

First up, are these Paisley Dot Brights, aren’t they stunning? 42 pieces of 10″ squares, in 21 fabric designs

6 Half yard cuts from the ‘check it out’ collection, and 5, yes FIVE yards of neutral fabric – This one is called ‘milkshake’

8 half yard bundle of Batik Foundations, i just love the names ‘bubbles – Custard’ and ‘cat scratch – watermelon’

And the gorgeousness just keep coming… I love love love these Aqua and Bermuda basics, and they team up so well with this ‘Spirit Rhythm’ pack of 40 2 1/2″ strips

Roar… wow!! What a stunning collection of prints ‘Wild Things’ . 42 10″ squares of 20 fabric designs, I think I will pair these up with the Grey, White and Black basics

And the last bundle of fabrics, I sadly cant show you, its a SURPRISE !!! Keep following me, to what special new fabrics I received, trust me it will be worth the wait, I literally screamed with excitement when I opened the package

Hobbs have generously given me three bundles of batting, a queen size cotton, and two throw sizes, from their Tuscany Collection, one is 100% wool and one is a cotton wool blend
